ExtendSMS provides mobile phone-based text services to businesses. But they don't just send out text blasts, and other one-way communications. They offer customizable Text Sites, where users can respond to menus and retrieve the information they really looking for, all from their regular old mobile phone.

Bearded Studio had already been doing web site and application development work for ExtendSMS for a while, when they approached us looking for a new approach to marketing their business.

We began by defining exactly what ExtendSMS needed to communicate to their target audience. The most important messages were that their service works from regular mobile phones (not just smart phones), and that it allows an interactive experience for users (not just a text blast). We re-worked their color palette and visual approach while retaining their existing logo, established a new verbal tone for marketing materials, wrote the key copy, and designed their new sales web site.
