CloudFab

Sometimes people have good ideas. These guys have a great one. Their business coordinates shops that do 3-d printing and scanning (yes, we can now print objects from digital files—crazy, I know), and allows people that normally can't afford it to bid on manufacturing time. It will allow industrial designers, inventors, tinkerers, and artists access to previously unaffordable fabrication technology. It also gives the shops the chance to sell their time, that would previously have gone unused.

Bearded was asked to brand the new service, and design the appearance and interface for the site. Now we call it CloudFab, the friendliest little fabrication site on the web.

The CloudFab logo was developed after an involved naming session, which resulted in the combining the ideas of fabrication and cloud computing.
