Bearded Studio

Chatham Baroque is western Pennsylvania's only professional baroque ensemble playing on period instruments. They were in need of a new web site with a CMS which would allow them to update their own content, and where site users could easily navigate to performance information, buy tickets, and download and purchase albums. They also required social networking integration, and more importantly a re-branding of the ensemble. They wanted to extend an invitation to new, younger audiences who may not even know what baroque music is. At the same time, the group could not alienate its current loyal fans.

Bearded Studio was asked to take on this challenge, and as part of the redesign we suggested an extensive photo shoot to help bolster their image. We felt that quality imagery of their period instruments would immediately communicate the nature of the music, while environmental photographs of the group would help personalize the experience for audiences.
