Last chance to see the great Steeltown Stock poster show at C Space Gallery this Friday! I bought a great Low silkscreen concert poster at the opening, myself. Lots of great deals on awesome local prints. Oh, and Bearded has a few posters up, too.
Community Supported Agriculture
Many of us at Bearded are enjoying the third week of our summertime Penn's Corner CSAs! We've seen everything from lettuce, carrots, and strawberries to fresh eggs and chevre in our farm share boxes—and we've been loving every week!
We're almost as excited about supporting local agriculture as we are about devouring awesome fresh produce and dairy—so Penn's Corner gets the thumbs up for all their farmers' hard work and dedication to delicious sustainable local food.
AIGA Pittsburgh Letterpress Workshop
The AIGA Pittsburgh letterpress workshop at CMU was a success! Matt Braun and I met with 11 local participants for a day of wood type printing and letterpress exploration.
